I am a teacher, and these black cords will be great for work! They are black and nice for going out in, as well. I have not worn or washed them yet, but they recommend dry cleaning, so I will probably do that. I own a dozen other 7 for all mankind jeans and pants. I always wear a size 26; however, I bought these in 27 since it was mentioned that they run a little small. On the specialized sizing, it recommended a 27 for me in these cords while still recommending a 26 for some jeans I also purchased. I am happy with the nice, comfortable snug fit and look.
