The Bootcut in New York Dark is 7 For All Mankind's original premium jean. It has a natural rise, comfortable hip and thigh and a classic bootcut leg opening. It's offered with our signature squiggle back pocket design. 7 For All Mankind's original and best selling inky blue wash is on a gorgeous 11oz Italian denim. This stretch fabrication has just the right amount of fading and distressing and features our signature '7' whiskers. Love these jeans. Sits perfectly on the waist. Quality of the denim is soft, so it's comfortable to wear on a daily basis. Yet, the color of the denim is still dark so it's a perfect night outfit worn with heels. The length is a bit too long, however, I embrace my 5'1" height. Just invest in a streamstress (love mines who only charges $10 - small price) who can hem it using the original hem and these jeans looks awesome!

These are some of the best jeans out there! I wear these mostly casually, sometimes for going out in the evenings. I've had about 5 or 6 pairs of these jeans over the past few years and the color and fabric have held up well, even after multiple washings. The short inseam on these jeans is just right for me, too (I'm 5'1, and my legs are very short. I don't even need to wear heels and they don't drag on the ground!). Also, the rise on these is just right (something I worry about a lot when buying jeans). These are pretty much a staple in my closet, and jeans that I reach for over and over again. I think I'd be devastated if they ever stopped making these jeans!

I own other 7 jeans and this pair ran smaller in waist and was longer than my other short inseam jeans by 7 for all mankind.

Maybe good for someone over 5'4". But under 5'3" expect you might need to wear heals to not have length drag on floor.
