I've worn these jeans for things like Casual Fridays at work and going to bars/lounges. The wash is just right in that it's not too light but but has just the right amount of character. The only thing I don't like about these jeans is that the denim weight is pretty light so they will probably wear quickly. I have some Citizens Of Humanity jeans that are basically the same weight and they wore a hole in the button fly within a year of owning them. In fact, these 7's came with a slight blemish in the denim on the thigh and i'm sure this ever so slight snag defect in the denim will unravel rapidly under multiple washes. I only wish i noticed the irregularity PRIOR to getting my hem. Otherwise, these are some nice dress jeans.
