I really like the fit of these jeans around the waist, but I noticed an unattractive bulge around the knees. I own another pair of these jeans in a different color/material, so I took them out to compare.

The waistline is identical in both pairs, however, the leg width in this pair is much larger, which is what is causing the wrinkles/ bulge around on top of the knees.

The material of these jeans is also very thin and soft, which means they will stretch too. So now I don't know if I should return them and try for a size 25 (hoping they will stretch around my waistline enough to be comfortable) or if I should return them all-together and wait for 7 to make other pairs that are more true to the original cut, which is much more flattering to the legs.
