As with other reviews, the Carsen is a great alternative to the Austyn. It is a slighty tighter fit through the thigh but it has a smaller leg opening so it doesn't drag on the ground. Bottom line, the Carsen gives a relaxed thigh without having to roll your cuffs.

Love the idea, but still prefer Austyns

These are almost identical to the Austyns except for two things; one is the rise is just a little bit shorter, and the other is the leg opening is just a little bit smaller as well. So overall compared to the Austyns, these are just a tad tighter all around.I love how 7 is making new fits so each person can get something that's basically bespoke to their body style! For me though, I still prefer the Austyns. I like that extra bit of baggyness I get from them compared to the Carsen (that's just my style). If you think the Austyns are too big \ baggy, but you also think that the Standards are too small \ tight, give these a try -- you'll love them.
